Meet West Loop's Executive Chef - Sherry Reuter


I’m Sherry. I first found Molly's when I was in the 6th grade, right around the time the first store opened. When I spotted the Tiramisu cupcakes on the menu, I knew I needed to have it. So my best friend and I fibbed to our parents about what we were doing, and nervously took our first forbidden rides on the Green Line, and then our first forbidden Bus rides, on our secret adventure from the suburbs to Molly's Cupcakes.

Over the years I have worked in restaurants and country clubs, making very formal plated french desserts. While I loved those creations, when I saw that Molly's was hiring for a new store, I knew that it was an adventure that I needed. The last year at Molly's has been amazing. I love our little family of staff here, and I love that this is an environment that I have also gotten to share with my own family. Of all of the places I've worked, Molly's Cupcakes is the first where my family has been able to come and taste the things that I make. My 7 year old niece would tell you that you have to try the S'mores cupcakes (and I totally agree!).
